The Hempfield Youth Wrestling Team participated in the Rt30 Round Robin Tournament on Sunday, January 24th. It has been an odd year for youth competitions and we compete whenever we have the opportunity. This weekend took us to York, PA where our open level kids participated in a grinding 7 man bracket round robin. Each athlete wrestled six matches in a shotgun style tournament. It was a great effort by our resilient kids!
Top four finishers were as follows:
4th Place – Alex Lau, Toma Cox, and Max Switzenberg
3rd Place – Joey Gallo
2nd Place – Connor Beckman, Grayson Angelo, Brady Deck, and Clementine “Tiny” Obrien
1st Place – Caleb Hoosier and Addison Horner
